Consulting / From strategy to operations

First a verdict, then an engagement.

You want to know whether your AI idea holds up – technically, commercially and in day-to-day operations. The Architecture Assessment gives you the basis for that decision. Then you decide on delivery.

30 days · Fixed price €24,500 plus VAT · 50% creditable toward a follow-on engagement

Enterprise AI: strategy, architecture and operations form a sound system. Keynote: context and perspectives.

01 / Gain clarity

The Architecture Assessment.

A clearly scoped first engagement with a result you can take an internal decision on and keep building on.

30 days / Fixed price

Build, correct course, or stop.

We review your initiative for value, knowledge foundation, architecture and feasibility. A well-founded recommendation not to build any further is a useful result, too.

  • A written verdict with rationale and open assumptions
  • A draft target architecture with system boundaries and dependencies
  • A prioritized roadmap and effort estimate

We define the specific sources, access and deliverables in the proposal before we start.

02 / Deliver with focus

Architecture and delivery, one point of accountability.

After the assessment, I can continue as architect, technical product owner or interim lead. The scope follows the decisions that actually need to be made.

Day rate from €1,500 plus VAT

Retainer from €13,000/month (2 days/week) plus VAT

Documented architecture, knowledge transfer and a defined handover are part of how I work. Role, responsibilities and exit are agreed before we start.

01

Strategy

Clarify the problem, the value and the success criteria. Turn a list of possible use cases into one prioritized initiative.

02

Architecture

Design sources, retrieval, graphs, models and integrations. Build in permissions and evaluation from day one.

03

Delivery

Build prototypes, lead technical decisions and connect product ownership with engineering.

04

Operations

Make quality, cost and usage visible. Transfer knowledge and lay the groundwork for scaling.

Why me

One connection, fewer handoffs.

Business case, technical decisions and product development depend on each other. That interface is exactly where I work.

Strategy with technical consequences.

A business case is translated into requirements, architecture decisions and testable assumptions.

Delivery with product ownership.

I challenge the brief before the team builds it. User feedback and prioritization guide the technical work.

An ending that is planned.

Documentation, knowledge transfer and a clean handover let your team carry the result forward.

Start smaller

Check the knowledge foundation first.

If your starting question is about your documents and knowledge sources, the Machine-Readability Check is a focused way in.

One hour of preparation: a list of your systems and knowledge sources.

Head of IT + 2–3 business unit leads. Remote or on-site.

Machine-Readability Check

Day 1: Map your source landscape and rate three documents with a machine-readability score.

Day 2, optional: Set priorities and develop a roadmap and effort estimate.

Before you inquire

Frequently asked questions.

What is the first step in working together?

The 30-day assessment gives you a written basis for your decision: build, correct course, or stop. Any follow-on engagement is a separate decision afterward.

What does the assessment cost?

Fixed price €24,500 plus VAT; Mid-sized companies from €19,500 plus VAT. 50% creditable toward a follow-on engagement. All fees plus VAT.

What results can we expect?

A written verdict, a draft target architecture, a prioritized roadmap and an effort estimate. System boundaries and specific deliverables are agreed in the proposal before we start.

What if you advise against building?

“Stop” is also a possible written verdict. The assessment does not commit you to any follow-on delivery support.

What can the engagement look like afterward?

Day rate from €1,500 plus VAT or Retainer from €13,000/month (2 days/week) plus VAT. Role, scope and handover are agreed to fit the initiative.

Do you lock us into a specific technology?

The architecture follows the use case, the data landscape and the operational requirements. Neo4j and LangGraph are possible building blocks, not a blanket requirement.

How are confidentiality and the contractual framework handled?

Access rights, confidentiality, responsibilities and scope of work are clarified before we start. Engagements are contracted as a service or work contract through HEWO Internetmarketing UG (haftungsbeschränkt), without temporary staffing arrangements. Professional and financial loss liability insurance with Hiscox provides coverage of €1 million.

Contract & legal framework.
